The daily routine of opening and closing the school needed to be as quick and simple as possible, whilst, once closed at night, or out of term-time, the school needed good security.
Callisto roller shutters provided the ideal solution. Fully finished in white, the neat roll boxes are unobtrusive when the shutters are open but provide an effective physical barrier to attempts at forced entry and a strong visual deterrent.
Multiple shutters to doors and windows also protect the school from costly vandalism, particularity through the holidays. The school entrance is opened with a keyswitch for, simple and secure access. The doorway shutters have a manual handcrank override for use in the event of a power failure.
Window shutters are on a group command activated from within each area of the school.
Callisto shutters are available in white, dark brown, graphite black and anthracite grey or can be powder coated to a RAL or BS colour.
Operation is powered by tubular motors in single or group control up to 4000mm over-guide width, 4000mm top of box height and a minimum width of 750mm over-guide width.
Spring assisted manual operation with key operated locking is also available, up to 2800mm over-guide width, 3000mm top of box height and a minimum width of 715mm over-guide width.
Powered operation is by rocker switch, key switch or remote control.
