AUTOMATION
Titan Industrial Roller Shutters are supported by a comprehensive range of automation options and control accessories.
Single Phase Tubular Motor Operated
The ideal roller shutter door for commercial applications where the door is required to be operated a limited number of times per day, such as shopfront entrances, windows, doorways etc. The door can be operated via rocker switch, key switch or remote control hand-held transmitters. The image shows a key switch controlled shutter protecting a shop front.
Single or 3 Phase Power Operated
A Titan industrial roller shutter door is ideally suited for heavy duty applications that require frequent use such as loading bays, goods in/out stores, car park entrances etc.
The roller shutter door is raised via a 3-phase, 415 volt, electric motor utilising either a flange mounted chain and sprocket driven or via a direct drive outboard mounted motor, and is usually operated via a standard Up, Down and Stop push button station mounted on the control panel.
A manual over-ride facility on a continuous haul chain is provided as standard to enable the door to be manually raised in the event of a power failure.
Alternatively, a single phase 240 volt industrial motor is available for sites that do not have a 3-phase supply however, the motor has a more limited usage rating.
CONTROL OPTIONS
Motor Control Panels
Simple up down control via push button with impulse (single touch) or hold-to-run (constant pressure) operation to dependent on application.
Open-Close Push Button
Simple up down control via push button with impulse (single touch) or hold-to-run (constant pressure) operation to dependent on application.
Rocker Switch
Impulse (single touch) operation of shutters with a simple up, down and stop function. Doorway shutters require hold-to-run (constant pressure) operation to ensure safe operation.
Key Switch
Impulse (single touch) operation or hold-to-run (constant pressure) operation by the turn of a key. Secure access for entrance shutters.
Tube Motor Control Panel "fitters-mate"
Sequential operation mode (OPEN-STOP-CLOSE-STOP) or Individual button control (UP, STOP, DOWN).
Hold-to-run operation in both directions or Impulse (single touch) open / Hold-to-run close control.
Group Control
A Group Controller provides an easy way to control up to four tube motor driven shutters.
This unit can be used hardwired to a single control (i.e. key switch, rocker switch) to control the motors or used with 4-channel handsets to control the motors individually via key fob.
Genesis Control Panel
Comes complete with two transmitters, 100 transmitters memory
- Fully compliant photocell safety circuit.

- Stop & return feature for when a safety input is activated.

Rollixo Control Panel
Comes complete with two transmitters, 30 transmitters memory
- Suitable for motors with loading capacity up to 1000w.
- Wireless safety edge: no wiring between the safety edge and control unit.
- Quick connect mains supply cable, motor and accessories.
- Motor direction/limit settings completed from the control panel.
- 4 LEDs providing real-time status of motor thermal and safety brake, safety edge and photo-cell status, low-battery.
Wicket door access
Wicket door personnel access is available as an option on Titan industrial roller shutter doors.
Wicket doors are fitted to the side of the shutter, locked in place when the shutter is closed and hinged aside to allow the shutter to open fully. Safety interlocks can be used to ensure safe powered operation of the shutter, preventing opening with the wicket door in position.
COMPLIANT QUALITY
Each door is also fully compliant to the machinery directive 98 / 37 / EC.
It has been mandatory for the installer of the door to “CE” mark the product to the machinery directive since January 1st 1995.

Your Warranty
Titan is covered by warranties for the periods stated below, subject to terms and conditions (available on request and supplied with every door) and regular maintenance.

Warranty on door components against manufacturing defect.
1 YEAR
Warranty on motor and controls excluding batteries and transmitters.
