Ultradoor Hybrid Roller Shutter Door

The hybrid roller shutter door mixes the strength of steel lath with the commercial looks of a roller garage door.

 

 

The curtain of the door consists of steel roller shutter lath, either standard 3” concave lath or the Ultralath commercial slat both of which can be supplied in a galvanised finish or powder coated to any standard available RAL or BS colour

 

 

The Ultralath slat has been designed, after many years of testing, to be the most aesthetically pleasing yet secure slat on the market today.

The slat is inherently stronger and greener by design, the manufacturing process of the Ultradoor drives down material costs for the customer without compromising the performance capabilities of the door.

The guides and the canopy / cover boxes are supplied in colour coated aluminium.

The guides have twin brush seals fitted as standard and the canopy / cover boxes are supplied in two parts, front and back if required.

 

 

The guides are available in two standard sizes, 90mm x 37mm, or the slimmer 75mm x 34mm, which allows a larger opening width particularly if the doors are fitted within the opening.

 

 

 

 

When fully retracted, the curtain of the Ultradoor is housed between two pre-cast aluminium head plates of varying sizes dependant on size of the door, 250mm, 300mm and 350mm being the standard size of plates available.

 

Fully compliant doors

Each Ultradoor roller shutter door has been fully tested to the CPR (Construction Products Regulation) EN13241-1:2003 + A1:2011 by a UKAS accredited testing laboratory and is supplied with a DoP (Declaration of Performance) copies of which can be downloaded within the “members section”.

Each door is also fully compliant to the machinery directive 98 / 37 / EC.

It has been mandatory for the installer of the door to “CE” mark the product to the machinery directive since January 1st 1995.
